A hike a day, keeps the doctor away.
It was a Sunday. I remember. The weather was very unstable, oscillating between full sun and showers of rain. The air was warm and humid. With Clement, a friend of mine, we decided to go for a hike that day. Typical local activity in Germany, Bavaria.
Clement, who is working for On Running, had to test a new hiking/trail vest anyway. That was the perfect opportunity for that.
Without a plan in mind, we took the car and headed north of Nurnberg. We stopped without a plan, no route. Just going. Same on my side, I just took my camera, no storyline, no footage in mind, and not knowing the upcoming scenery. Out of this day I made 2 videos, using the same footage.
Greta, Clement's dog, was also hiking with us. She was crazy and always running, giving me the tone for the first video.
The second video was made from the feelings I had during the hike. The constant changing weather but still beautiful nature and scenery.
