This piece emerged from a mission assigned at art school, providing an opportunity to delve into the unique properties of soft pastels.

Techniques:
Utilizing a combination of hatching and painting techniques, I sought to explore the expressive potential of soft pastels. The deliberate use of hatching added depth and texture to the artwork, while painting techniques allowed for dynamic color application and blending.
