"Metropolis" is a small fulldome project specifically designed for Planetarium 1, a unique cultural venue located in St. Petersburg. This project was developed in a fulldome format to accompany an immersive musical show, during which the audience can delve into another world on the expansive dome of the planetarium.
The content was inspired by the aesthetic and atmosphere of Fritz Lang's 1927 movie "Metropolis." Images from "Metropolis" intertwine with the energy of the musical show, creating an unparalleled symbiosis of visual and auditory art.
