BETWEEN THE LINES

Typography Day poster competition winner 2011-2012
A brief history of Lebanon, it was a marinate ruled country and still is, was ruled by many countries for years, became a mix of religions, and separated because of the two religions into East and West. The term, Between the lines, plays an important role in the history of lebanon; here we have the 11 -r4..u1 h;.11 the "Religious line", and this plays a great deal in our youth. The cause of many disturbances in Lebanon, is of fights between two religions. In my poster II Caught in the Middle II I used drawing to represent youth. I drew two main religious houses, Christianity and
Islam. In between the two houses, is the Lebanese flag on a billboard, representing a local. At the bottom page, written in arabic, between the lines, in an ironic view meaning "Go outside the lines, free your thoughts". It shows both, between the lines and go out from in-between the lines.
