We asked the subject to put on a kimono and pose for us. I was somewhat conscious of the balance between the expression of the person's skin and the kimono, as well as the color tones. The wisteria trellis in the background is a composition of images taken at a real place.

着物をつけていただいてポーズをとってもらいました。人物の肌の表情と着物とのバランスや色味など多少の意識をもって製作しました。背景の藤棚は、実在するところで取材したものを構成しました。
