İstanbul Kuş Göçü Festivali | Visual Identity

Turkey has a special importance for birds migrating in the direction of Asia/Africa-Europe. Istanbul, which hosts 483 bird species, is home to many bird species as it is located on the most important Bird Migration Route of Africa and Europe. Since eagles, falcons, hawks, vultures, storks, swans, flamingos, pelicans, cranes, swallows, bababils and dozens of bird species pass through the skies of Istanbul in hundreds of flocks, the Bosphorus hosts a great feast in every migration period.

The aim of this project was to create an identity representing various bird species, creating eye-catching, especially fun and informative visuals for children. The orange beak that will highlight the identity and the waves representing the Bosphorus provide ease of application in various mediums.

VISUAL IDENTITY

Within the scope of nature games and workshops, matching game cards introducing various bird species were designed. The extensions of the identity can be seen on patterns, tags, stickers, stamps, promotional items such as tote bags, t-shirts etc.

This personal project is designed as an alternative visual identity to the existing
“İstanbul Kuş Göçü Gözlem Etkinliği”.
