What if there were a star very similar to Earth? If it hadn't been for that great extinction. This work is based on the image of the moment a human first alighted on such a parallel Earth-like star. I consciously drew expressions that would evoke both awe and familiarity with creatures that were similar but somewhat different and that could not be classified by known criteria.
