Hello Indigo
Brand Concept for a touring art gallery
The brief was to make a brand for a touring art gallery that visited different hospitals around the country. My Idea was to make the tone of voice very welcoming and friendly due to the art gallery being in hospitals. My thoughts were that Hospitals can be quite down and gloomy place for people to be in and haveing some simple friendly gesture in the logo could send out the good vibes that it intends to attract attention.
This is the main logo with colour variations that can be used. I chose the name and colour indigo as it is the coulr of relaxation, dreams and inspiration which i thought very fitting with my take on the tone of voice.
The accompanying tagline to go with the logo is 'good heart' which is broken up to say good --art, good heart. It is placed inside a discreet speech bubble to have the effect of it being said to you rather than it just being there.
I also included an Ipad App that could be used by the public befor coming to the exhibitions that would help them know what works on show might be of paticular interest to them. This could be used in hospitals to generate interest with patients who spend a lot of there time in hospitals just waiting about.
This is a corporate poster used for the general awarness of the touring art gallery and all the venues that are being used. I used speech bubbles ro create a heart full of quotes on what the galleries would offer.
This is a roller stand that would be displayed  around the events with a polite quote on them.
Here is how the specific venues poster would look. I have designed the poster to promote both the brand and the artwork on show by using the indigo colour scheme and using the artwork in question. The artwork is put behind the indigo screen apart from the focal point of the art which is cut out to make it stand out.
This was an alternatvie ide for the posters but i felt this didnt sell the art as much as the above style.
