Checkout.com I Event Design + Guidelines

Event design toolklit for Checkout.com, a multi-million corporation offering digital payment solutions for businesses globally. Checkout attend and host a wide variety events of varying scales with different objectives, opportunities and requirements. To ensure brand recognition and consistency across all events, Checkout needed a comprehensive event design toolkit. Working in close collaboration with the brand and marketing teams, a comprehensive event strategy and design document was developed to help the events team plan and design each event space depending on the event's objective, scale and budget.


Checkout events vary greatly in scale and context with each event requiring different set ups, components and spaces. A modular design system of building blocks was proposed based on the geometry of the logo, This highly scalable solution can be easily adapted to meet the needs of each event, while maintaining a consistent design language.



One of the challenges of the project was to ensure that all events, regardless of budget and location limitation were of high standards and representative of a multi-million corporation. Therefore, in addition to the fully bespoke furniture, low-budget alternative solutions were developed that uses widely available off-the-shelf elements that can create the appropriate look and feel with the help of on-brand vinyls, veneers and lighting.
