antiquity - create a soft antique lightroom preset

This is how you could create your own vintage-style soft sepia Lightroom preset in just a few simple steps - this can be done on Lightroom mobile too, as shown in the processes below.

This is completely subject to your own style - this could act as a rough guide for how to quickly and easily create a vintage-style preset that can be used for many different subjects in images.

Here I have taken an unedited image of two soft yellow roses, framed by leaves and fallen petals.
Step 1: Reduce exposure just a little. This will slightly dull the bright highlights and deepen the overall tone of the image.

Step 2: Adjust the overall colour tone of the shadows through colour grading. This will create a cohesive warm tone throughout all the shadows in the image, dulling the greens and giving it that soft brown sepia look.

Step 3: Reduce the contrast. This will lessen the depth of the shadows and the brightness of the highlights, which will in turn create an illusion of an old vintage-style image.

Step 4: Add haze. This will lessen the contrast even further and add a softer, hazy look to the image.

Step 5: Reduce the clarity. This will soften the hard edges between shadows and highlights, again increasing that gentle sepia effect.

Step 6: Add vignette. If you're really wanting to enhance the antique effect, adding a vignette can be an option - as genuine vintage cameras didn't have the capacity to remove vignettes. It can also draw more attention to the main subject.

The final result. The image is soft, with gentle warm brown undertones across the whole image. The vignette frames the contrasting roses, and overall creates an effective antique look.
