It’s 9pm on a Friday night. Stepping out of the chilly sushi restaurant you get surprised by the warm Los Angeles breeze. A hint of salt is in the air. The ocean is nearby. A few steps further: Little Tokyo. Lights flashing. Cars honking in the distance. Freeway white noise…Quintessential Downtown Los Angeles.
Task:
- Create a dress with a self developed print integrating one 2023/2024 WGSN key color
- Up cycle pieces of clothing to create a top
One hoodie , three long sleeve shirts and two donated fabrics were used on the kimono.
The 2023/2024 WGSN key color sage green was selected for this dress.
The print was created through "hydro dipping".
