Every year we are assigned to design Orama’s Minimal Frame corporate xmas gift - greeting card. This year’s gift consisted of 2 games; a card puzzle with Orama’s product drawings in 1:1 scale for Architects to create different combinations and a set of custom decks that are numbered and illustrated upon Orama’s identity.
By using typography as the main design element, we borrowed the forms and details of the GT Sectra Display font and created a variety of compositions and illustrations depicting the numbers and figures of the card deck.
Blue, being the secondary color of the brand’s palette, replaces the red colour which is usually used for cards, while a silver paper was chosen for the playing cards as a reference to aluminum - the main component of Orama’s products - plus enhancing the festive and shiny character of the gift!
