Every year, during Pune Design Festival, a competition is held across various categories for young Indian designers (students). This competition is called 'Battle of Projects'. My task was to design a trophy for the competition winners.

I came up with the theme of 'budding designers'. The trophy has an acrylic top (laser-cut and etched) as an abstraction of flower petals budding inside-out. Material of the base was taken as American ash wood, which is easy-to machine, laser-etch and looks very good with a non-polished surface.
