A nightstand designed for happiness. Inspired by the idea of imbuing furniture with the power to bring happiness to many generations, this nightstand features an upholstered drawer front and drawer bottom that resulted from exploring how physical qualities of a nightstand could enhance the experience of spending time in bed or at the bedside. The final product suggests that a nightstand that embodies happiness is one that not only provides a therapeutic interactive experience, but also reminds us to appreciate the physical objects in our lives that offer comfort and inspiration. This nightstand was designed for batch production.
