This was my favorite project from my Packaging Design class. I am extremely interested in designing beverage bottles, so I jumped at the chance to do wine labels. I made a new line of wine for a winery that exists off the coast of Spain, in the Bay of Biscay. They age their wine underwater in the ocean, which also contributes positively to the surrounding marine life. The company's technique amazed me, and I was extremely underwhelmed by the packaging they have for their wine bottles. They have such an amazing concept, yet the bottles are plain and boring. I created a new line of wine that would be aged for 7 years in the ocean, hence the name "7 Years Under the Sea." I absolutely love the final product.
