Birds have always been linked to the history of mankind since antiquity. They have generally found themselves involved in mysticism, religion, folklore and artistic culture of many civilizations which have passed through this planet, each one attributing to them their own meanings. Sometimes they have been messengers or carriers of a deity, sometimes symbol of wisdom, of fear or bad luck.
Personally, I feel obsessed with birds, which are not only repeated constantly in my photographic works, but also on my body, every year I try to add a new bird to my corporal collection. It is as if it reflects my dream of freedom and flying away in "little by little become a bird myself", or at least, covered by them.
