TresSisCinc project | February

I’ve always loved those kind of  pictures which are something between landscapes and portrait, where the sitter gets mixed with the surroundings as if they were all one. However, they seem complicated to me by the fact of having to frame the scene and to know where to put the subject at the same time.

So this year, I put myself the challenge of doing a self portrait everyday of those pictures,  365 images (Tres Sis Cinc in catalan). And, furthermore, to do it more didactic and enjoyable, I decided to put myself some rules, a few limitations
- Use only a 35mm.
- Use just the available light in the scene.
- Don't photoshop anything.
- Make only color and horizontal photos.
This makes me pay much more attention to every detail of the place, to choose the right light and exposure, to study the framing and the composition, not to get something unwanted. I've realized that those limits I put to myself are making me to enjoy much more every shoot. It makes me experiment, try new things, and get excited like a kid when I see what I've captured with just a camera, what I see when I take a 10seconds shoot, and wait for the train to pass in front of me while being steady like a statue (*)

Hope you enjoy it!
