For the course in Editing and Publishing Techniques, we were challenged to write a children's story in 20 minutes. Then, we were told to edit the story and turn it into a book. After 10 years of being away from drawing, I took this as a chance to see how rusty my skills were.
I drew with pencil on paper, then photographed at home with an iPhone 13 Mini, cropped and colored on Adobe Photoshop, and built the project on Adobe InDesign.
This is a story of love aimed not only at children but mostly at adults. It is about knowing how to forgive. At the end, there is a short explanation of Kintsugi, the method Teresa's mother uses to repair the broken vase, and how it afterward rejoices in beauty and memory.
