Data visualization using QGis and Blender
This is a visualization of my geographic location recorded with a GPS since 2013.
In all this time I changed homes, jobs and partners. It is interesting to see how I use the city based on my personal and work relationships.
I used QGis to analyze the raw GPX data and generate hexagonal polygons with the frequency information in the form of a heat map.
Then I exported the information by year in CSV format and then imported it into Blender. With the help of the grometry nodes I was able to make this beautiful animation :D.
