Vividora Wine Label

In 2023, Bodegas Arráez asked me to design the label for their new Vividora wine, and gave me freedom to represent what “Vividora” means to me.
Vividora is a Spanish word for a hedonist and bon-vivant woman. But to me, Vividora was much more. She was a woman who was wild and free-minded, always embracing the good and dark sides of nature and life.
I wanted to represent her as a mythical woman riding a genet across a magical forest at night.
The genet is a small (and cute) local nocturnal animal from the Mediterranean region where the wine is produced. Etymologically its name comes from “jada” (fairy in Occitan language), which inspired me to draw Vividora as a wild fairy.
