In 2019 in the universe of the band Gorillaz, Murdoc, bassist and member of the band, ended up being arrested. So the band members called the character Ace to be the new bassist, thus creating a crossover between the worlds of Gorillaz and The Powerpuff Girls.

In these illustrations I wanted to represent this junction, in case Ace and Buttercup met in this older universe. Would they make a couple?

Maybe.
