"Fingerprints & Mugshots" - Your Chin
(Music Video Concept, VFX & Direction)
This video for Mumbai-based electro-pop artist Your Chin was my passion project for 2014. This crowd-sourced music video was shot over 3 days but post production on it took over 3 months, as we had to balance completing it, while other paid work kept happening on the side.
Conceptualized, co-written, and directed by me, this video features a hybrid-animated character. Part-footage, part 2d animation, this may be the first time a human chin has been made into a dynamic character, free from the rest of the face.

Opening Packaging for The Dewarists Season 03
The Dewarists in its third season embarked on a new journey. Unlike previous seasons where two sets of musicians were paired to collaborate on a song, this season paired musicians with visual artists. We knew that the opening packaging would have to directly convey that idea, but in an artistic manner. That's roughly around the same time we had been doing some experiments with Realflow. The dots were just waiting to get connected.
So here's (as motion graphics blog Digital Canvas puts it) "a cracked Dali-inspired, desert, where a musician and an artist yearn to connect with each other through the magical liquid of Dewars".
Opening Packaging for Sound Trippin Season 02
MTV Sound Trippin is a youth-based popular music television show on MTV India. The show follows the host, maverick electronic music producer Sneha Khanwalkar, who travels to ten cities across the country to record unusual sounds and make ten songs, one for each place she visits, that capture and represent the soundscape of those places.
This title sequence is a symbolic simulation of the creative process of the creation of a song, from ideation, to refining, to the burst of inspiration, to mixing and mastering.
