Full size map of Italy, featuring Milan, Florence, Rome, Sardinia and Naples and food that comes that that specific region.  If you travel in Italy be sure to sample the dish that was made famous by that area of Italy. Risotto, Bolognese, chianti wine, bruschetta, pizza and a special pastry called seadas.

I start all of my illustrations with a line drawing and add texture and color when I get it into the computer.  I love hand lettering and wanted to add a touch of elegance to this piece along with my signature textures and depth.

More hand lettering!  Food and maps are some of my favorite things to draw, and much of the illustration that I get asked to do for advertising or for editorial illustration work.  I like to add pattern and whimsical design elements such as the olives.
