POCKET BOOK, YUAN FANG interview for HYPEART
This pocket book was inspired by an article by HypeArt about a young female artist from China — Yuan Fang.
Her paintings are a motley flurry of abstract compositions, in which many metaphors and emotional overtones are hidden.
The artist’s work is very self-sufficient, so for the design I chose clarity and conciseness.
As a quote from Young’s paintings, I added an openwork font and graphic elements that follow the contours of the figures from the artist’s paintings.
