— Una Nave con le Tette
Senza Rossetto is a project that challenges conventional stereotypes and expectations imposed on women in society, celebrating the diversity and resilience of women from past, present, and future. It has evolved into a multi-faceted platform that includes a podcast, an insightful newsletter, and a book titled Le ragazze stanno bene published by HarperCollins Italia.
As part of the project, we had the opportunity to create an illustration for the seventh issue of the newsletter in 2022 titled Una nave con le tette. The topic discussed was the experiences of women working as second deck mates and the need for a supportive network where female workers in this sector can connect and help each other out. Through our illustration, we aimed to visually capture the spirit of this important discussion and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on women's empowerment and equality.
