The Habitat
Inspired by numerous science fiction writers, video games and futurologists, this illustration was created as a homage to the wonderful creativity and optimism behind such ideas as the space habitat, the ringworld, or orbital bridges - megaengineering in general.
Though not linked to any one specific piece of literature, I was mostly inspired by Larry Niven.
Although quite similar in style, this work is not part of the WORLDS series. It's a standalone illustration.
