There are people who do street fashion photography. There people who do vintage couture. Then there are people who go back in time, cut out nostalgic moments and bring them back for us to witness.

 

One gets to witness such feats with collaborations such as those between photographer Harness Hamese,  fashion collective known as Khumbula and Namibian fashion designer Lourens Loux Gebhardt. 

 

Going through the images is like finding an old copy of DRUM magazine and soaking in the work of Alf Kumalo and Peter Magubane.
