SMELLS LIKE CONTENT

The process poster was a commentary on growth in society and human progress. The vernacular of the work is based around a song called "Smells Like Content" by The Books, which revolves around the notion that the world is a place where parts of wholes are described within an overarching paradigm of clarity and accuracy. The six sided figure stands as a metaphor for communication, interfacing, balance, union, community and integration. The hexagon pattern is reminiscent of bee hive structures, reminding the viewer of an organized social structure. The abstract inside the hexagon is a collaged galaxy of aerial shots from London and Tokyo.
