Suddenly Mr C snapped out of his trance – he realised (with a sudden shock of embarrassment) that he was staring straight at her you know what, and that prospect of you know who, catching him red handed in the act of staring at you know what, would be quite embarrassing for a creative scientist of his calibre. He slips out of the kitchen quietly and retreat into the darkness of his room – after all, he thought to himself, I do have quite a substantial amount of pondering left to do. What he doesn't know, for he is not as in touch with his future as he believes himself to be, is that fate wants him to discover something completely different: a fair, dark haired member of royalty.
