Spiritual Orgasm came to be as an exploration of the spiritual experience. From the first mental image that came to me, I allowed myself to free associate and leave it to the subconscious mind to guide me through the creative process. I produced several sketches in an attempt to help the development of the idea, some of which can be seen below.
