Modfunk is a now-defunct Polish duo creating electronic music heavily influenced by the French Touch movement. Think early Daft Punk, Cassius, Etienne de Crecy, Mr Oizo. I remember seeing their wacky video to “Souler” on Viva TV when I was in high school and then listening to their “Superfuzja” album. I was super impressed as I was really into French electronic music back then.
The album cover showcases the letter "M" from the band's logo, which was used as the basis for a 5×5 grid. The rest of the cover was then designed around this grid. The release features an inside cover with an interview with the band. The record was released in two vinyl versions – classic black and pink/orange splatter.
