The Auschwitz concentration camp, the largest among many others, operated from 1940 until January 27, 1945. During this time, approximately 1.5 million individuals, primarily Jews, but also including gypsies, Poles, and Russians of various ethnic backgrounds, were subjected to cruel experiments and murdered systematically.
In 2018, Erkin visited Auschwitz and captured the experience through photographs. This project originated from an article he wrote for the 78th liberation day of Auschwitz on January 27, 2022, and eventually evolved into a newspaper-like design that was edited and designed by Ceren.

Diğer birçok toplama kampı arasında en büyüğü olan Auschwitz toplama kampı 1940 yılından 27 Ocak 1945 tarihine kadar faaliyet göstermiştir. Bu süre zarfında, başta Yahudiler, çingeneler, Polonyalılar ve Ruslar olmak üzere çeşitli etnik kökenden olan yaklaşık bir buçuk milyon insan zalim deneylere tabi tutulmuş ve sistematik olarak öldürülmüştür.
2018 yılında Erkin, Auschwitz'i ziyaret ederek bu deneyimi fotoğraflarla belgeledi. Bu proje, Erkin'in Auschwitz'in 78. kurtuluş günü olan 27 Ocak 2022 tarihine yönelik kaleme aldığı bir yazıyla başlamış ve sonunda Ceren tarafından düzenlenen ve tasarlanan gazete benzeri bir tasarıma dönüşmüştür.
