Secrets in the moment the studio of Stanislav Geissler

Working out of a tiny East London studio Stanisllov Geissler for a big man moves with surprising grace and efficiency, like a pilot of  747 his hands darting from tool to tool. He explains that with everything within easy reach on the neatly stacked shelves that surround him, leaving him the minimum interruption of his creative thought pattan.
Working mainly with glass and metal creating intricate cathedrals of colour that enslave light in tight abstract spaces, contrasting the stark whites and browns of the clay foundations like frozen splashes.
Meeting him for the first time I was greeted with a generous smile and a vice like handshake that puts you immediately at ease, he seems almost bursting with ideas. After several successful exhibitions his work is attracting interest on both sides of the Atlantic, his latest showing will be at the Parallax Art Fair in the Chelsea Town Hall from the 26th of July
