MEDIUM: STOP MOTION ANIMATED VIDEO, MADE IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
This project was a assignment for my course Untangling Heritage Through Design for Masters At BNU, which is based on conservation of heritage through visual communication design. The task was to create a family tree through a work of visual communication design. The steps involved were:
- Research: Calling family and asking about my lineage, researching exact geographical locations on Google Maps
- Selection of medium: Since I had a history of migration in my family, I decided to create a video to capture the movement involved in migration
- Testing: I watched the video myself and showed it to others to make sure the speed of movement was comprehensible and made adjustments accordingly,
- Audio: I felt a video wasn't enough to communicate my ideas so I added audio narration.
