The goal for this project was to redesign an album by combining the style of a musician with the style of a well-known graphic designer.
I chose to recreate Regina Spector’s album with influence from designer, Paula Scher (Paula is well known for creating large maps purely out of hand type.) The images in the CD packaging are inspired by lyrics from the songs on the album. Influence from Paula Scher comes in with the lyrics printed on the paper creating the images that were hand cut and collaged.
