This project came to be in the context of a university group assignement.
It was asked to create a new design for a bluetooth speaker taking inspiration from the places and activities where people listen to music.
For this project in particular it was asked of the students to not only redesign, but also create a low-fi prototype, and a high-fi prototype by 3D printing the model.

The design of the speaker is highly ispired by the Steamline movement, being translated into simpler shapes with rounded edges.
The funtionalities we added are a clock and a phone holder.

This is the final prototype. There were some changes in the design during the 3D modeling process, and we opted to discard the phone holder feature.
As a final feature we ended up painting part of the prototype with glow in the dark paint.
