NYI BLUE PEACOCK
This costume was inspired by urban legend and the fauna from West Java, Indonesia, peacock. There is a legend about a Queen who has a power of beauty, and she lived in the ocean, known as Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of South Ocean. She loves green, and there is a myth, nobody permitted wearing a green color, or they will be lost forever. This costume was a nominee for Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival, Gading Night Carnival 2013. The material use sateen, mega mendung motif for the embroidery, faux peacock fur, LED, tie dye chiffon.
