Methven
Shaping experience with water

We were commissioned by Methven to create a series of 3D renders showcasing their extensive range of designer tapware. While traditional photoshoots are typically employed for such projects, our client had exceptionally high expectations for the realism and accuracy of the images. Our objective was to go beyond a mere photographic appearance; every element within the scene had to be precisely scaled, detailed, and integrated seamlessly into functional interior design.

Given the absence of a pre-existing base model, our team embraced an agile approach to constructing the scene. This involved a dynamic interplay between building the essential functional elements and achieving the desired artistic composition and lighting outlined in the brief. Only after establishing these foundational elements could we proceed to incorporate materials, props, and intricate details to bring the initial draft to life.

During this phase, the workflow transitioned into a more collaborative process as we fine-tuned the images in close partnership with the client. Leveraging the power of 3D technology enabled us to efficiently explore various compositions, colours, lighting techniques, focal points, props, intricate detailing, and grading options. Ultimately, this allowed us to achieve an exceptional outcome for the final deliverables.
