Poetry of Drago Gervais - Black Cat

Cat stole meat from the kitchen cupboard.
Grandma chased him through the garden
telling him many nice words:
- Black Cat, give me back my meat,
please don't play with me,
how will I prepare a lunch
and what will my grandson get for eating?
But mischievous black cat was eating meat
and always one step before Grandma.
And when he ate the whole piece,
he jumped over the fence,
licked himself,
and combed,
and with a full stomach on a date with a neighbour's cat he went.
This is another take on Drago Gervais's poem called "Black Cat". I hope you'll like it :-)
