I was briefed on an exciting collaboration with the international brand, Lotus Biscoff.

RATIONALE:
The vida e caffe coffee & Lotus Biscoff Biscuit complimented each other so well, it was undeniable.
This lead me to the concept: 'vida loves Lotus Biscoff', based on the iconic 'I heart NY' concept and the declaration of vida's love for the Lotus Biscoff biscuit.

Lotus Biscoff's main brand message is that the biscuit 'evokes moments of joy', while one of vida's main brand messages is 'a shot of happiness'.

It made sense to put the two together to form the secondary campaign message: 'A moment of happiness'.
This talks to the unique experience & feeling of eating a Lotus Biscuit while drinking a vida coffee.

Since this was a big launch for the international brand in South Africa, I wanted this campaign to be more than a simple product campaign. I wanted the photography to include people with big, bright smiles, exuding their moment of happiness with vida & Biscoff.

I put the presentation together to present to Biscoff, including poster mock ups, descriptions of possible models, make up, lighting, poses, cropping & angles & backdrops.

I stuck to a very natural look with all of the above so that the models' smiles & the product would shine through and catch the customers eye.

I also designed a bold, heart shaped badge to reference the inspiration of this campaign (I heart NY) and carry through the messaging.

This project was a creative collaboration with the vida e caffe Marketing team, styled by Lisa Clarke & her assistants & photographed by Danielle Zondagh.
