NAME: Cow Pombalina drawing and painting in acrylic Subject: 1755 Lisbon earthquake Cowpombalina - The name was in honor of Marques de Pombal Portuguese minister who rebuilt Lisbon after the 1755 earthquake The project is inspired by a representation of Lisbon, before the earthquake of 1755, where I reference various monuments and places in the Portuguese capital; the "Terreiro do Paço", "Castelo de Sao Jorge", "casa dos bicos" and some churches. I have chosen this theme, not only because it is the capital chosen by cowparade, but also to promote the tile museum where I was inspired for this project
