Black + White Photography Digital Magazine for the iPad: Following on from the work that I did in Semester 1, developing a visual language appropriate for a B+W photography magazine, and then designing a special edition print issue of the magazine, this semester I have redesigned the iPad app of the magazine. My aim was to design a more interactive and experiential product, which showcases the beautiful photography featured in the magazine in it’s best light, as well as providing additional content such video interviews with photographers.

 

My final design utilises a parallax scrolling system, by which the various layers of content build up and transition as the user scrolls down the page of each article, to create an immersive, refreshing, and visually-pleasing experience for the reader.
