Nocturnos

En los trabajos de Diego Díaz gran parte del protagonismo es del soporte, del papel que se involucra como un actor principal en las escenas y cuya tonalidad, negra o roja, establece el ánimo, el carácter, el espíritu de las representaciones. Sus papeles revelan y ocultan simultáneamente. Revelan un tiempo, unas circunstancias, una situación que en el caso de los papeles negros está patentemente relacionada con la noche, pero que al permitir observar sólo un detalle puntualmente iluminado, oculta lo aledaño y posibilita al observador para ver inclusive más allá de los límites físicos de la obra, supliendo con sus conocimientos y experiencias el resto de la escena.

In Diego Diaz's artwork the main protagonist is supported for the sheet of paper which involves as main actor of the scenes and its tonality, blacks or reds, establishing the mood, character and the spirit of the representations.
His papers hide and reveal simultaneously, reveal a time, circumstances, a situation, like in the black paper is patented a relationship with the night, but allows to watch one detail punctually enlightened, it hide adjacent side and allows to the viewer to see even beyond physical limits of the artwork, making up for with his knowledge and experiences the rest of the piece.
