RIVERFRONT  REMODEL

The client's main requirement was to expand the bay view and improve the cramped proportions of the dining-living room. The solution involved demolishing a few walls to create an open plan layout that integrated three separate rooms: the living-dining room, the linear kitchen with a breakfast nook, and the laundry room.

By demolishing three walls and reconfiguring the kitchen's layout, the kitchen now occupies the space where the breakfast nook was, and the living room incorporates the area previously occupied by the laundry room. This strategic change allowed for the doubling of the window width, unveiling a breathtaking panoramic view of the coast and transforming it into a living painting.

The design approach focused on achieving a clean and minimalist space that seamlessly blended the service area with the living space. Special attention was given to the kitchen's aesthetics, opting for built-in appliances, coordinated surfaces, and a harmonious blend of light and warm tones. Dark wood effect vinyl flooring was chosen to create a striking contrast with the light cabinetry.

A comprehensive lighting project was implemented to enhance the integration, unity, and warmth of the entire space, tying all the elements together harmoniously.
