Green IV administers a social, economical and environmental change into the rooftops of the university. The rooftop creates/provides a (social) habitat for the students and creatures that would potentially inhabit the site. Through the connection of the IV bags, filtered fluids travel intravenously, ensuring the greenery thrives and stays hydrated. The rooftops will also provide RMIT’s RUSU Realfoods with organic produce and valuable income. Potentially, produce can be sourced locally; at street stalls, markets and local cafes. RMIT’s student union will work in maintaining the viable resources that will be intended for distributional purposes. This green roof intends on creating a sense of community; the responsibility of looking after the space will bring students and faculty members alike together.
