Taking a Stand
In this project I created a poster for a documentary on the civil rights movement in Milwaukee. We were told to only use type for this project. I communicated the idea of power through words using a bold, gritty type-face. The arrangement of the letters also create the shape of a sign, evoking the protests that were observed at the time.
