Quell is aiming to revolutionize the fitness and gaming industries with an immersive fitness gaming platform that burns more calories than a spin class. Morrama joined to define the aesthetic language of the product and design and engineer the hardware. The key to the platform is immersion, achieved through a resistance-based wearable with integrated technology that collects real time movement and translates it into gameplay.

Both the band and ergonomic controllers were designed to be comfortable, inclusive, and future-proof. The controller was designed to align with recognisable button function for intuitive use in the high-tempo game. The product was considered for disassembly to enable repair and/or material separation at end-of-life and the wearable elements were designed to be machine washable, breathable and low-cost enough to achieve an accessible price point for users.
