My entry to  UP Cineastes’ Haute Auteur Silent Film Festival 2012, a modern version of the movie poster for the Filipino cult classic film, "For Y'ur Height Only". Starring Weng Weng as  Agent 00, a 3-foot-tall martial arts master, expert marksman, top-class romancer and all-around superspy. This print was exhbited at EDSA Shang and was sold for charity during the Musique En Scene event at B-Side, Makati.

  The Philippine cinema has come a long way from it's golden years during the early 60's to the internationally reknowned indie film scene of today. Sure gritty, poverty-driven, social urban drama may get the awards and respect of international film festivals but it’s that other Philippine cinema that wins the fan boy love. The one peopled by midget super spies, mestiza vampires, anorexic Rambos, blind Karate masters, fake cowboys, gay superheroes, and a host of underfed and underpaid stunt extras. Yes, we’re talking about the world of Pinoy exploitation films.
