Final Shape, Type, Hybrid, and Cover

For this project we had to express an abstract concept in literature using shape and type. I chose hope vs despair, and then incorporated the designs into a book cover for City of Thieves by David Benioff. I tried to play around with shape and type, although I felt as though my shape work was a lot more successful. If I could do this again, I would work exclusively in photoshop. When using CSP, it rescaled the images and changed the DPI so I had to spend hours re-rendering them in photoshop to get them to the right size.
