I designed this double sided flyer for the event. The front front is informational, I used a photo I took myself when I visited back in February. The back says just "Whelan", I wanted to the poster to be double purpose, so it could be hung as a decorative poster as well. Finally, I used a grainy overlay to look like it was hand printed.
As well, for the event I made an app interface to add to the experience. The point of the app is to be a companion while at the cemetery, as well as within the community. While at the cemetery users would be able to journal and reflect; a pivotal point of the event. As well, the app allows users to message to meet up at the cemetery, sharing memories or meditating together.

I have never designed an app interface before, so it was a bit of a learning curve. I am really pleased with how it came out. I believe that the simple and easy design would allow all types of users to explore and access the cemetery.
Below are three key screenshots of articles that helped me pin point exactly what I wanted to focus on with this project that being, bringing a reflective, and peaceful exploration to the cemetery, bringing life with a purpose of reflection to Whelan Cemetery.
